  1. Q

Can you advise me of your GPS co-ordinates....?? or civic address...??

    A

    Yes, we are located at..... 45.58'.29.56 [N]....... 61.07'.51.54 [W] Our civic address is : #43, Hwy 252, Whycocomagh, Nova Scotia [B0E 3M0]
  2. Q

    Can you accommodate BIG RIGS......??

    A

Yes we can, we have a number of larger sites [back-in & pull-thru] that make it much easier to park the bigger RV's & 5th Wheels.
  3. Q

I'm really looking forward to ''doing the Cabot Trail'' this time, is it an 'easy route'....it looks pretty hilly with lots of tight curves.....??

    A

It very much depends on your rig, most campers park up their RV or 5th Wheel at a Campground of their choice & use the tow car, truck or bike. It's much less stressful on the passengers & the RV too, there are not many level parking spots & you will be stopping frequently to enjoy the many views & small villages.
  4. Q

I'm on a tight budget, are your camping fees fixed ? & can you organize a rental car....??

    A

Yes the fees are fixed & if you need a rental car/suv we can certainly arrange it.
  5. Q

Just how central are you in CAPE BRETON.....??

    A

VERY....you are never far from the OCEAN or the BRAS d'Or LAKE & most areas of interest. If you have travelled a considerable distance to get here.....take you time....There is much to see...!!
  6. Q

How do we get to the CABOT TRAIL.....How long is it.....??

    A

The position of 'GLENVIEW CAMPGROUND', offers a really nice starting point to the CABOT TRAIL, just turn left as you exit the Campground....this takes you alongside the largest fresh water lake in NOVA SCOTIA [LAKE AINSLIE} which in turn joins the CABOT TRAIL ...The Trail is 300km's [200 miles] or so long.
  7. Q

Would you advise doing the CABOT TRAIL in one day....??

    A

Some people do, it's a great drive....one of the BEST in the WORLD, but why rush it....?? You have probably driven a long way to get here.....so take your time.....enjoy a meal here or there.....you will be amazed at the forever changing scenery.
  8. Q

Which places would you recommend we see in particular....??

    A

As well as ''THE TRAIL'' there are many places to visit. A minimum of 3 days will allow you to see BADDECK,CHETICAMP, INVERNESS, PORT HOOD, MABOU, the LOUISBOURG FORTRESS, go FISHING, PLAY GOLF or go on a WHALE WATCHING CRUISE.....or CRUISE around the ISLANDS of the BRAS d'Or LAKE.
